Welcome to McKinley High School Library!

Please follow these rules when you visit the library.
1. You must present your MHS ID to borrow library materials.

You may borrow up to five (5) items.

You may not borrow if you have overdue books.

2. You must sign-in (full name and purpose) before school, during lunch and recess, after school, and during class time if you have a library pass.

3. Engage in appropriate library tasks.

Read.

Research.

Study/do homework.

Browse for books.

4. Behave appropriately.

Use quiet voices.

Do not eat, drink, or chew gum.

Do not run around or horseplay.

Do not use walkmans, discmans, cellular phones, pagers, toys, games, or play cards.

Stay away from off-limit areas: library stairwell and lanai

5. Leave the library promptly in a quiet and orderly manner when the lights are dimmed.
Consequences

You may be asked to leave the library.

Contraband items will be confiscated.

Referral to the Office.
