McKinley High School College & Career Center

McKinley High School's College and Career Center provides students with individual assistance to better prepare them for the transition from high school to college and to help them with setting career goals.

Objectives

 

  • To provide ALL students with information and options concerning careers, post high school education and job training beyond high school to provide a library of printed and audio visual materials to assist students with personal career exploration.

  • To provide a library of printed and audio visual materials to assist students with personal career exploration.

  • To train and assist students to utilize the Career Kokua system for instant information regarding careers, colleges, scholarships, and financial aid.

  • To disseminate information to the students regarding career and college speakers, enrichment workshops, financial aid and scholarships, job shadowing, testing, and career exploration opportunities.

McKinley High School's College and Career Center is located in the Administration building in Room A119

Hours


The College and Career Center is open daily from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Students are encouraged and welcomed to visit the center at any time before school, after school and during the lunch period. Students may come to the center during the regular class period only by appointment and the respective teacher's approval.
