Driver Education

SY 2021-22 Session 2:  January 4 - February 19, 2022 (6-8 week course)

McKinley Driver Education is scheduled to begin another session on January 4, 2022. If you are interested please read the information provided.  Selection will be conducted by lottery.

Please let your parents know the date for the Mandatory Parent/Student meeting advance. If you or your parent is not
in attendance for the meeting, you will be eliminated from the class.

Last day to complete the form will be:  November 18, 2021 @ 8:00 AM


Mandatory virtual Parent/Student meeting:

Class meet, lessons begin:


December 6, 2021 @ 6:00 PM (online)

January 4, 2022 - February 19, 2021 (online)

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM M-F

Saturday morning. Date/Time/Site : TBA

​Please Note:

All students who wish to enroll must:

  1. Possess a valid Hawaii Driverʻs instructional Permit.

  2. Be a minimum age of 15½ years old.

  3. Not older than 18 years of age.

  4. Committed to attending all classes both online and in person). 
    Attendance is Mandatory for all classes and meetings. 
    Students will be dropped from
    the roster if he/she is absent.   

  5. Students will need to have a computer with a camera and microphone.
    ** It is mandatory that students are visible on camera and participate in class.

  6. Course fee:  $10.00

Class space is limited (14 max).  The selection of students will be via a lottery.


You will be contacted by email if you are selected and provided with more information and details for the class. 

Please check your email (Check your spam and junk box too, in case it is delivered in those boxes.)

  • If you are selected, you will be sent an email.  If you do not respond to the email, it will be assumed you are no longer interested in the class and you will be dropped from the roster and class.
